A fortnight to go until the World Cup, and with many Scotland fans updating their playlist, host John, along with SFF Community contributors Josh and Ricky, welcome along three acts who’ve written a World Cup tune of their own – Nick Morgan, PG Ciarletta and Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5 members Greg and John. Nick has penned “Scotland’s On Fire”, PG has released “The Saltire’s Back (Ole Ole)”, whilst Colonel are bringing out “The Fathers of Brazilian Football” on Friday 29 May.
We learn more about what it takes to put together a football single, dealing with online negativity and why there is no longer a market for an official World Cup song that there was back in the day. The lads then all give their objective views on five other songs that have been released and what their top three songs would be on a Tartan Army Playlist.
