After a long wait, the SPL season returns in just a few days and to celebrate, we are launching a special feature length podcast.

SFF regulars, Craig and Laurie, are joined by Scott, from thefootyblog.net, to discuss the upcoming season.

We discuss each of the twelve SPL teams, including their transfer activity and speculate on how they will finish come the end of the season.

I hope you enjoy Scottish Football Forums first ever podcast.

“Dunfermline have a first division squad” – they just came up from the first division.

“The manager doesnt have any experience at this level” – you have to get the first experience at some point.

Remember St.Mirren and St.Johnstone are vulnerable too..dont rule out the Pars…do so at your peril! 🙂

Cheers for the feedback, and you probably have a point with the above comments. Dunfermline are really the ‘easy’ option to pick for relegation, but they could quite easily surprise a few people. I think it will be interesting down that side of the table though.

Craig, nice one mate but you almaost made me cry…sounded like the Rev. I. M. Jolly presenting a Ricky Gervais podcast!

Nonetheless, very decent first podcast…well done all…keep it up.

    Thanks for all the comments.

I submitted the podcast to iTunes yesterday evening and I am just waiting for it to be added to the iTunes store.

I have heard it can take a few days for the initial podcast, but is then instantly added for subsequent episodes.

I meant that Dunfermline had not really improved on their 1st Division squad… I have already ruled them out… At my peril.

Regarding Wanyama, I’m sure Lennon said somewhere that he had signed him with the intention of using him as a central defender.

The centre of midfield is congested as you poiint out, however the centre of defence is not, so it would make sense.

Kilmarnock or Inverness for the drop!
