The World Cup is getting ever closer and on this episode John and Stephen chat with the voice of BBC Scotland’s coverage Liam McLeod. Liam will be following in the footsteps of predecessors such as Arthur Montford, Archie McPherson, Jock Brown and Rob MacLean when he commentates on Scotland’s World Cup Finals game in America this summer.
Liam gives us his Scotland memories from yesteryear before going into his commentary journey, with some interesting facts about how he landed the no.1 gig at BBC. He gives his thoughts on covering that famous night against Denmark on 18 November 2025, something he admits will be tough to beat, before taking WhatsApp questions from the SFF Community and naming his best Scotland XI.
