Scottish Football Forums was founded in 2009 and is the home of Scottish football banter. It used to consist of two main sections – forums and blogs. Then in 2011 we branched out into podcasts. Then later we dropped the forums so now it’s just a slightly confusing name but it’s too late to change it. The team has changed a few times over the years too, but here’s how we currently line up.
The Director

Krys
Celtic fan Krys has been involved almost from the beginning. First appearing on episode eighteen of season one, he became co-host from season three and is the only one to have put out a podcast which only featured himself. Mostly found on throwback and international podcasts now, but still works away behind the scenes on most of the technical side of things. Krys once claimed that if he ever left the podcast then Celtic would probably lose the league, however Krys finally decided to step back in season ten… and Celtic went on to lose the league.
The Hosts

Charlie
Hibernian fan Charlie joined as a regular in season thirteen’s latter half, which makes him one of the more familiar voices now! First appearing on episode sixty nine of season eleven, Charlie has interests spanning both the men’s and women’s games.

Danny
St Johnstone fan Danny first appeared on episode sixty nine of season eleven and joined the team as a regular in season fourteen. Unfortunately, just in time to see his team get relegated to the Championship. Danny is a great believer in the Super Cup not being a proper trophy.
Dave
First appeared on episode twenty three of season eleven, and returned later that season for another guest appearance. He’s been a regular since season twelve, Dave once played the game in the Juniors and more recently worked in club media at an SPFL club.

Graeme D
Hearts fan Graeme first appeared on episode forty nine of season twelve, and joined us in season fourteen as a regular. Often found on the Premiership review podcasts, Graeme is also our TikTok expert and can be found there answering questions somewhere between that and his own Hearts Enthusiast channel.
John
Aberdeen fan John first appeared in the seventh episode of season six and quickly became a regular. More recently, John’s focus has been on the specials including throwbacks and driving more focus on women’s football. That book he’s holding in the picture is his own, Scotland’s Swedish Adventure, focusing of course on the polis-kissing CIS-thumping Scotland at Euro ’92, which has since been followed up by We’re Going to Wembley which he has written about Scotland at Euro ’96 with Neil Doherty.

Josh
Irvine Meadow and Rangers fan Josh first appeared on the ninth episode of season eleven and became a regular later that same season. Josh hosted in season twelve for the first time and may well be the first host to swear in the introduction. Often spotted shirtless in the away end on Tartan Army duty, and afterwards when he’s lost the shirt entirely.

Laurie
Kilmarnock fan Laurie joined as a regular in the back end of season thirteen. First appearing on episode sixty of season twelve, Laurie’s became something of an unofficial regular for about a year before it was finally official. Well he does have a voice for radio after all. Yes I said voice, not face, be nice!

Paul
Infamously, Paul was frequently mentioned on the podcast throughout pretty much its entire run, due to his 0-0 predictions on the old forum being synonymous with his name. He eventually made it onto the podcast in episode fifty seven of season thirteen. As well as being the predictor expert, he’s also another groundhopper so will likely be found just about anywhere in Scotland in any given weekend!
The Regulars

Cammy
Cammy made his debut on episode twenty three of season fifteen and given his wide range of support for the national team as well as Rangers and Auchinleck Talbot he’s clearly great across many of these podcasts.

Daris
Celtic fan Daris can be found just about anywhere between his Tartan Army adventures and his spinning wheel deciding which Scottish Cup journey to make next. A relative newcomer to the podcast, his first appearance was episode nineteen of season fifteen.

Ethan
Celtic fan Ethan made his debut on a mid-season Premiership review, episode thirty four of season fourteen, and has been a regular on the Premiership podcasts since. Can also be found over on The Dugout which also includes Laurie!

Erin
Aberdeen fan Erin first appeared on her very own fan’s special, the twenty ninth episode of season ten. She returned later that season and became a regular in season eleven. If you’re a fan of Prosecco and eating pizza crust first, Erin will probably be your new best friend.

Graeme G
Highland League guru Graeme first appeared on episode nineteen of season eleven, unsurprisingly as part of a groundhopper special. Joining us as a regular in season fourteen, Graeme, although nominally an Aberdeen fan, is definitely more likely to be found in the stadiums of the far better value Highland League or even the Amateurs.

Katie
Airdrie fan Katie first appeared on the podcast back in episode ten of season eleven to give her perspective of being a female fan, but has since become a regular on the Championship specials.

Ricky
Celtic fan Ricky is one of our newest regulars, having made his first appearance in episode eight of season fifteen. Like many others on this podcast, he has his own ventures too as should be clear from the photo on here!

Robert
Morton fan Robert is another proud member of the Tartan Army and may have got tickets for the World Cup even before the draw was made. Robert’s first appearance was on one of our Championship specials back in episode six of season thirteen.
The Past Hosts

Craig
The founder of the Scottish Football Forums, Craig was the first host of the podcast back in 2011. Craig passed the reigns to co-host Krys over the course of seasons four and five, and while he made appearances in later seasons he eventually left to pursue other interests.

Laurie D
Laurie started the podcast along with Craig back in 2011, and remained a regular co-host until season four. He’s had a one or two cameos since then, but you can still hear Laurie as he is now the voice of commentary on Hearts TV.

John Br
John was involved with the podcast way back in episode eight, became a regular in season three and eventually the main host as he took over from Krys for the start of season ten before finally standing down in season fifteen to focus on other ventures.
